International Collaborations

The Biostatistics Department actively collaborates with major international research consortia, contributing statistical expertise to large, multidisciplinary efforts in cancer genetics, including:

  • Breast Cancer Association Consortium (BCAC)
  • Evidence-based Network for the Interpretation of Germline Mutant Alleles (ENIGMA)
  • Consortium of Investigators of Modifiers of BRCA1 and BRCA2 (CIMBA)
  •  

Through these collaborations, the Department plays an active role in large-scale international studies aimed at advancing the understanding of cancer susceptibility and improving genetic risk assessment.
